MACDL 2019 Annual Conference

You won't want to miss this year's event!

This year's confirmed local presenters for June 13th include: Walt McKee, Jamesa Drake, Aria eee, Luke Rioux, Mark Peltier, and Ed Folsom

There will be a Defenders' Reception, featuring some comped drinks and (possibly) entertainment, following the first day's events.

This year's confirmed national presenters for June 14th include: Chris Fabricant (The Innocence Project), Deja Vishny (Wisconsin Public Defenders Office), Megan Crane (MacArthur Justice Center), and Keith Belzer (Devanie, Belzer & Schroeder).

11 General CLE Credit Hours; 1 Sex Harassment/Discrimination Ethics CLE Credit Hour.

The cost to attend both days is $400 for non-MACDL members; $350 for MACDL members. To attend for one day only, the cost is $225 for members and $275 for non-MACDL members. Written materials alone may be purchased for $75 for MACDL members and $100 for non-MACDL members.

Please note that if you need financial assistance to attend the conference, please do not hesitate to contact Tina ( as soon as possible. Because of the generosity of our donor members, we are able to provide generous partial scholarships to member attorneys who practice indigent defense.

Registrations are absolutely non-refundable after June 3rd. Prior to that, if you must cancel, you will receive your registration payment, less $25 administrative fee.
